Creating time for yourself is one of the keys to ascension, wellness, and balance. I’m joined by my friend Laura Kyttanen to talk about how she’s built her business to help women holistically build more space for themselves and their business.
About Laura Kyttanen
Laura Kyttanen is a business and mindset coach for women juggling their career around motherhood. She discovered this passion and purpose after being confronted with several identity shifts after motherhood, including experiencing a devastating miscarriage which prompted her spiritual awakening.
Her mission is to guide female entrepreneurs with soul in order to ignite, expand, and elevate their business. One of Laura’s favorite quotes is by Rumi “Only from the heart can you touch the sky.”
Laura combines her Masters in Organizational change from Columbia University, over a decade of experience in Fortune 500 companies in various roles, five years of entrepreneurship and a certificate in subconscious reprogramming in order to get to the heart of your business.
As a mother of two, Laura knows it takes grit and soul to juggle boss life around motherhood. Laura gives motivational talks on what it takes to be a boss mama and is currently writing a book on her awakening journey to inspire other mamas to be the CEO of their life and make their dreams come true.
About Creating Balance & Wellness for Busy Boss Mamas
Laura Kyttanen joins me today to talk about how the hardest moments of her life led her into a spiritual awakening. When she looked at these traumas for what they were – learning opportunities – and dedicated time in her day to caring for herself, she underwent a huge awakening shift.
Laura used what she learned during this awakening to start her own coaching business. She believes that creating your perfect messaging is one of the keys to a successful business. This is one of the aspects she focuses on when helping you build your business.
But this isn’t where her coaching ends. Laura takes a holistic approach to coaching and encourages her clients to tune into their intuition. Women have lost the natural art of following their gut instincts and so many of us need to relearn how to get in touch with that side of ourselves.
Part of this, as Laura says, is creating space for you to focus on you every single day. Yes, even busy boss mamas – five minutes a day just for yourself is a fabulous start to reconnecting with yourself.
Finally, we talk about why being aware and in tune with the phases of the moon is so important for us, as women, to do. Laura has even built her business launches around the moon so that the energy ebbs and flows at the right time.
What are you doing for yourself today? How do you tune in to the moon’s changes each month? Let me know in the comments, lovely!

“We often think that there’s these external things going on that are preventing us from the business or our life growing, but it’s actually us.” [11:02]
“Women intuitively know the right steps to take. And we can take them, but it’s the mind that starts overruling us. That’s when we become confused. If we can learn how to get more calm and centred, and more empowered with knowing that we are not our thoughts, we are the creator of our thoughts.” [15:46]
“There’s gotta be something more than just hustling and working more all the time. There has to be time for us to slow down and really take in and give ourselves that space to receive and just be.” [26:34]
